Welcome to Taylor High School
Our theme this year is "Planting Seeds of Hope." We intend to take every opportunity to instill the highest academic, behavioral and social standards in the students at Taylor High School while also nurturing their "hearts and minds." As we all know, "it takes a whole village to raise a child". With that in mind, I would like to extend an open invitation to all our parents to visit the campus at any time. We would love to see a “Sea of Red” at the numerous campus events; as parents, teachers and the community come together and support our students. We hope that everyone will catch the Taylor Pride and Spirit!

Our Namesake
Edward "Doc" Taylor deserves to be honored by naming the district's fourth high school after him. His zeal for teaching and his enthusiasm for his subject matter was conveyed in his students for twenty-two devoted years in Alief. His high academic expectations led students to understand that hard work, perseverance, and the will to succeed would serve them well. |
